Review:
Maddie is the last ZippinHub fully released game. It's about a featured goth girl named Maddie. The gameplay works by holding space and timing it on the yellow bar. You got a stamina meter on the right and a timer on the top left corner. Every timing that lands on the yellow bar, extends the timer on top by either +1 sec or +3 secs. After completing one position, the time freezes so you can watch in glory. After watching it, you can move on to the next and do it all over again. The gameplay is rather simple and doesn't have any more complexities in it. But I don't think that was the goal Zip was going for. We're here to watch the bountiful animations and chill out and not stress how hard the gameplay loop is. I appreciate that because most of the time, the hardcord h-game players expects something like a proper combat system like the usual rpgmaker stuff or a unique form of minigame but no, we have a simple enough game mechanic for us to skip to the gooning faster. They're pretending to be the best h-game dev ever, at least they're doing what they do best on the game and I respect that. The artstyle though, is bit of a turnoff for me. It's not entirely bad but just a bit uncanny for me. Might be Maddie's design or how the animations work on her. But anyways, for me it just feels off for some reason. The animations is great honestly. I think this is where ZippinHub really shines. They showcase the sex scenes in a much more higher quality than the gameplay and the character designs. But yeah that's about it. You can unlock the gallery after beating the game once so that's also neat. So overall I enjoyed it. Kinda sad that they've been gone for a year now. Their Patreon has been silent for the longest time. I really hope ZippinHub for the best.
