I had low expectations as it was his first game, but he managed to make the characters not as flat as one would expect in this kind of game.

Besides not giving a happy ending to the main character, was something appropriate considering her backstory, and if we pay attention to the dialogues, we could say that the good ending for her is when she is executed and refuses to ask for clemency, keeping the little pride she had left.
