I have come to share the Gospel and make known the truth of God’s Word, so that everyone may know the freedom and holy life that He offers. Many struggle with this sin without fully understanding what it is or how to find victory. Here it is in a simple, clear, and direct way:

❌ What it is:
It is disordered and impure sexual desire that goes against God’s purpose. It is not limited only to physical acts: it includes covetous thoughts, improper fantasies, viewing others merely as objects of pleasure, seeking satisfaction outside the boundaries set by God, and putting desire above respect, love, and purity. It distorts the gift of sexuality, which was created to be lived in holiness, faithfulness, and love within marriage.

✅ How to overcome it: Chastity and Purity
Victory comes with God’s help and through practical choices:

- Flee from temptation: Stay away from content, conversations, places, or situations that stir up impure thoughts — do not toy with temptation.
- Guard your heart and mind: Fill your thoughts with God’s Word and things that build you up, for “what comes out of the heart is what defiles a person.”
- Respect your body and the body of others: Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, bought at a great price.
- Live according to His purpose: Understand that sexuality is a gift from God, and its intended place is within the faithful marriage between a man and a woman.
- Seek God’s strength: You do not fight alone; pray daily, ask for the Holy Spirit’s help, and trust that He is able to give you self-control.
