In the first episode of Summertime Saga, we play as Willie, an 18-year old high school student beset by all sorts of troubles: his Dad has recently passed away, his Mom is being chased by Dad's (presumably criminal) creditors, Willie's school grades are in total chaos because of his month-long absence, and the mean and evil school principal Mrs. Smith refuses to cut him any slack, threatening expulsion if he does not remedy his grades as soon as possible. Fortunately, he can still count on the help of his friends Eric, Mia, and Judith; his teachers, such as the lovely French professor Miss Bissette; and his Aunt Diane, who offers him an afterschool job of looking after her vegetable patch... making sure he takes especial good care of her long and hard cucumbers.
