@Ratnedalu Thanks for giving a thoughtful and written-out opinion, my man. I have no plans on switching to UBE; I just wanted to play around with Rhoshari's model, as I like their work. I've been playing with UBE for a month now (I think), and it just isn't clicking for me personally (might be a skill issue), so I'll be sticking to my usual 3BA girls for now.

This is just my opinion mind, but…

This ain’t it, chief. UBE has a tendency to look like super-plasticky DAZ slop*—because it is literally just DAZ. Which isn’t to say DAZ can’t produce some good results sometimes, especially in still images. But it’s hard to do. I’ve seen some great UBE faces, but I’ve seen so many more that aren’t.


Granted some of this is heavily biased personal opinion; I react particularly strongly to DAZ models, and I fully admit this girl’s face personally gives me the willies.

At the very least, get a hang of UBE, then make the switch would be my genuine advice.

* And I realise people tend to roll their eyes at the use of the word ‘slop’ nowadays, but in the amateur/indie visual novel community, DAZ is the OG slop. As are Koi and HS— easy to mass produce generic content, hard to master, just like AI is now.
