Not my best, but I wanted to do a futurism themed video with various robot girls. I wish i could have found better quality versions of clips I gathered. The lip syncing with the lyrics was fun to do.
The songs chosen are Computer Love by Zapp and Roger and Yours Truly 2095 by Electric Light Orchestra. I layered two halves of Computer Love& to give more volume to the vocals and shortened Yours Truly for the video length
Both songs released in the early 80's during a time of rapid technologic growth. They foreshadow what would be today's climate on the various uses of cyber sex such as dating apps, chat bots, VR, ect and so on; forgoing traditional means of passionate communication. The future of human needs for emotional dependencies is highlighted throughout these songs to this very day as technology continues to ever evolve in a crippling world wide economy, where those suffering of untreated loneliness are vulnerable to the ease of digital communication which is tailored and algorithmic to their wants, needs, and desires.
