Overview:
Burned out from studying, a man checks into a hospital in search of rest. But this place is far from ordinary. What begins as a quiet stay soon slips into something surreal - -where the line between reality and nightmare starts to blur.
With every passing night, doubts grow. You must question what's real and slowly uncover the hidden truth buried within these halls. Only by surviving all five nights of despair will the full picture come into view.
Review:
Music and Sound Design:
The music is great. It captures the dark and dreary feel of an empty hospital building. It's quiet sometimes and then when monsters struck, the music becomes haunting. Wrapping your ears like you've witnessed horrors you've seen in films. Sound design is amazing as well. The footsteps, the echo and the empty atmosphere, the drawers and the self opening doors at a distance, these sounds alone can make you terrified. The devs made sure you ARE playing a horror game at it's truest form. 9/10✨
Character Design:
In horror games, the developer needs to make an attractive enemy in equivalent to their horror aspect. The more scarier it is, the more beautiful the enemy monsters should be, that's only the case if it's an H-Game of course. In this game, it does deliver just that. The game is scary and it managed to bring us hot and lewd designs for our eyes to mesmerize. The dev did such a great job on crafting these designs like for example, the Nun, the ghost girl, Hachishakusama and the cat girl. It's clearly obvious that the dev made this with love and effort. 10/10✨
Animations:
There's nothing much to say other than Absolute Cinema. From the pixel art to the close up animations. You rarely have these types of games where it's heavy on the gameplay while being heavy on the hentai part of the game as well. Easily 10/10✨
Gameplay:
Ah.... As you can see, it took me so many tries, so many attempts to reach the final night. This game is fucking hard hahaha. What else can I say. It's easily the hardest Afterschool Tag type game that I've ever played. To explain the gameplay, here's the basic run down of the controls and mission. WASD to walk, SPACE to use Item, TAB to switch your item that you're currently using and SHIFT to sprint. And lastly E to interact. And yes. You can clearly play this with one hand but that doesn't make it easier. The gameplay is you wake up to Day time and do simple missions here and there while also giving you tidbits of lore as you go deeper through the levels. After sleeping, you must survive 5 nights in a countdown. Once you reach 6 am, you advance to the next Day. All you need to do while in this countdown is to find certain items like, recharge for your flashlight, pill for stamina recovery and a separate pill for health recovery. Sometimes you can collect money to put something in the vending machines for various items. Using these items can help you prolong the night without losing all of your health because if you do, you will do it all over again. Well it does save per night so you're good on that but still. This game is considered hard. For me at least. The loops goes like this. You woke up, find items, and either camp or keep going to places where entities won't find you. I did the camping strat since the exploring strat doesn't really give you a huge favor. In fact it's worse if you try to find more items. The way the game makes this hard is because of the way the enemies behave. On certain intervals, enemies spawn, I mean make sense, but the thing is with Hospital Seduction, enemies can linger enough time for them to spawn all at once, guaranteeing 1 capture. Once they do capture you, they reset and disappear and do it all over again. As you go through the nights, I swear they are being spawn at least 1 per second because oh my goodness, they can surround you like bees after you attack it's nest. It's also bullshit sometimes because enemies can spawn right next to you so yeah there's that. Enemies are also quick in movement. If you don't know their gimmick, good luck because you're getting captured and there's no escape. I've only managed to beat this because of that camping strat. Waiting for entities like the nurse, ghost and Nun are easy counter because of their easy mechanics. Well except for the Nun I guess because she's sometimes so far away from you. It's frustrating to play this game but I do like it because of the challenge it gives. Just because the game is bullshit doesn't mean it's not fun. You can think anything to counter them and it might actually work. I mean I did mine without looking up a guide on how to beat the game. So yeah if you're up for the challenge, this game is right up your alley. 9/10✨
