Heatwave is a 2D survival shooter with adult themes. Buy weapons and ammo, dodge attacks and fight off hordes of enemies before they drain your energy.
This project is currently in early stages of development.

It's a pretty good take on the "Captivity" game. If you don't know, this is based on the survival shooter game called Captivity where zombies are trying to get you in a experiment implanted by scientist for an unknown reason. It's fun and a pretty smooth game from what I've experienced. Now in this game, the twist is the futanari part. Adding you as the futa or the enemy as the futa makes for a fun dynamic in both gameplay and sex scenes. The menu and UI is pretty cool as well. You can customize a lot of stuff on the menu before you can enter the arena. The animations as well as the models looks identical on Captivity. But it animates a bit weirder and more like of their own type of animation rather than a 1 to 1 copy of game. Now the gameplay. The gameplay is the same. You survive an amount of waves and then face a big boss at the end. I love the boss at the end. I think that's a cool touch. But anyways you shoot and loot for gold to buy more guns to shoot and loot. The maps isn't really my cup of tea. It's a bit generic and flat for my taste but it does get the job done. However the gun and health recovery placements is a bit odd. Again this is just a demo so it's subject to change but I would like for the dev to maybe make the placements more strategic rather than braindead cuz' not only is the health pickup is near, it's pretty damn cheap too so yeah it's quite broken. And on top of that, when you do the sex scenes on a random enemy, you recover full health. I think that's a bit much. Maybe instead of having recovered full health, make it so that after the scene it would only alleviate small percentage of your health or maybe giving you more gold instead of health. So yeah that's what I feel about the demo. Pretty good but needs more improvement.
Rating:
A solid 7.5/10. I see huge potential when this completes.
