New Game! From what I understand, this is the developer's first game and it shows, though not necessarily in the animations (which I’d actually say are the strongest part).

The reason for this, according to the developer's notes, is that the engine they used didn’t have enough space.

The game also runs at a tiny, fixed resolution (under 1000x1000), making it impossible to play in a larger window. I had to stretch it using editing software just to make it viewable.

Putting those issues aside, this specific build doesn’t have a ton of content but at the same time, it kind of does? It’s mostly just disconnected scenes with zero story, and levels that don’t really lead anywhere.

Still, I genuinely like the animations. I wish they had more pixels, though I assume it’s much easier to animate at a lower quantity of pixels.

I also really liked the design of some monsters especially the final slime. The idea of a slime that runs to a doll and wears it like a suit to attack is the most original slime concept I’ve ever seen.
