In the world of Skyrim, Chaurus have developed a unique reproductive strategy that involves using human women as surrogates to lay their eggs. The process begins with a male Chaurus selecting a suitable female and secreting pheromones to induce compliance. He then mounts her from behind, using his ovipositor to deposit eggs directly into her vagina or anus. After several hours, she ejects the eggs which hatch days later under the protection of the Chaurus father.
