VR videos aren't just clips next to each other with depth, there's some work done in the encoding to present the image wrapped in a sphere or dome around the viewer; because that wasn't done here, like it isn't done in most "VR conversions", the image gets projected as an inverse hyperbolic cylinder at an insanely low FOV, which is so stretched it effectively destroys any depth that may have been added.
It might work if you were crossing your eyes to watch on a flat screen, but it's completely incompatible with an actual headset.
tl;dr, this isn't VR :(
