Welcome to the Fighting Game Gooning Community series ! Where I grab some fighting games and do PMVs about them ! Hope you enjoy the first one with the DoD franchise !! Ngl it was pretty fun but also pretty intensive to edit. the opening part with the character select screen was abysmally difficult to do, but I hope someone can appreciate the fidelity (even tho I cut some corners here and there and it looks like ass lmao).
i had zero knowledge about the DoD games before, I only jacked off to them, so I did some research, that led me to the Brain Alert! Video explaining the entirety of the dead or alive lore. It is a pretty fun video, so if you want to know more about DoD I recommend checking it out.
I am having a difficult time striking a balance between the amout of editing I put into these PMVs... I know I shouldve figured that out like, 8 videos ago but it is kinda hard to know the sweet spot between editing to much and giving people brain aneurysm and editing too little and looking like a slideshow or a compilation... After doing some research (jacking my shit off furiously) I realized that the lenght has a lot do do with this balance, if the video is too long. Putting too much effects is tiresome for the viewer. Ive seen some 30 or 40 seconds edits that look AMAZING, but I just know that if it went on for longer and longer, it would get pretty obnoxious pretty fast. Will try to experiment a little bit further on this topic in my next video.
Also, why does Sarah Bryant gets confused with samus aran so much ?? Swear to God like, 85% of Sarah clips is having her doing a Samus cosplay or even be Samus herself with Sarah name instead. Its not that big of a deal but I thought it was kinda funny.
