there is few differences on what is a pmv depending on who you ask,
Some will say it is music on the background.
Others would say that is adding music music that fits the scene
And other people will say it's editing scenes to fit a song.
I stand by the third, and would say the other 2 are compilations.

This is kinda of grey ground, because the beat and scene sometimes fit naturally, which will be the 2nd, but there is a small edit at the end at least to be the 3rd.
I would call it more a compilation than a pmv but i can't really say "this is not a pmv"

Part of why I labeled it as a "Compilation/PMV" is that the animations do indeed change precisely with the changes in the song, rather than just being a string of animations with music added as an afterthought. Notice how the changes at 0:21, 1:07, and 1:54 happen exactly as the beat drops. I like fast changing PMVs, but honestly I wish there were more that would stay on a single animation/loop for more than 15 seconds.

this is a comp with background music, not a PMV. People usually call them music comps.
