I always assumed animators didn’t put a face on the male characters so the viewer could imagine themselves in the situation. Though I guess the real reason is because it just doesn’t matter. You came for the girl, not an original character.
I'm making a hot take here or not. But basically here it is; why can't they just add a face to the male characters? I know it's extra work but come on. It's a little unsatisfying not seeing at least the males face. But overall the animation is hot. It works and I love the idea here. But man, I just wished some animators around here just put some work in the "guy" face thing.
