There are rumors of a secret room in the newest version of HHP, and one of the comments from F95 shows the "process of unlocking the secret room".

In case this comment gets deleted, I'm posting the whole thing here as is:
I figured out how to get to the secret room. You have to:
- start a new game
- free both civilians
- open the gates in the order CBA
- defeat the elite four 20 times
- restart. delete your save
- open the gates in the order ABC, then BAC
- the room entrance will be on top of the jessies playhouse building. Jump on the rodeo building first to get there easily.
It looks like a fake, but I'm a little bored and want to say screw it, I'll do it anyway and see how it goes
