They were both found three days later, with their televisions still on and their phones fully depleted. Call logs showed a multi-hour long call between the victims starting shortly before time of death and ending likely when one of the phones died. Autopsies found clear signs of sexual assault, but no fluids or fibers belonging to anyone but the victims. No physical evidence could place another individual at either scene at either time of death. Both times of death were approximately simultaneous. Both causes of death were ruled as stress-induced cardiac arrest. No suspects were ever charged. Both cases remain open.
